The mission of the Hempstead Union Free School District is to inspire every student to develop a love of learning, achieve academic excellence through innovative teaching and learning, empower student voice and purpose, and develop strong character. Through rigorous instruction that supports individual needs and strong partnerships with families and the community, we prepare students to lead with integrity and thrive in an ever-changing world. District Goals Student Achievement We believe that all students can learn and we will strive to ensure that all students will have access to the best resources, and that they are made available in a fair and equitable manner. Strategic Goal: Reduce the number of students who perform at Levels I and II.
